If you’ve been Googling “cocktail bar for events Lagos” or “how much is a drinks vendor Nigeria,” you’ve probably found a lot of vague answers or no answer at all. So let’s actually talk about it.
The honest answer is: it depends. But here’s what it depends on and once you understand that, you’ll be able to plan and budget with a lot more confidence.
Guest count is usually the starting point. More guests means more drinks, more staff, and often more equipment. A cocktail experience for 50 people is structured very differently from one for 200.
The type of service matters too. A full mobile cocktail bar setup with bartenders, bar equipment, glassware, garnishes, and a curated menu is a different offering from a basic drinks service. Signature cocktails, themed bars, bubbly bars, mocktail stations; these are all add-ons that affect the final number.
Duration of the event plays a role. A 3-hour cocktail party and a full-day wedding reception are simply different scopes of work. And then there’s the menu itself. Fresh ingredients, quality spirits, specialty items. These impact the cost of what goes into every glass.
What most vendors won’t tell you is that a well-planned cocktail bar doesn’t have to be the biggest line item on your event budget. When you brief your vendor properly with your guest count, event type, and a rough budget in mind; a good team can create something exceptional within a range that works for you.
At OTRwithB, we don’t believe premium has to mean inaccessible. We work with clients to build cocktail experiences that fit their event and their budget. No vague quotes, no surprises.
